Model WXT and WXTH Picnic Tables are ADA Compliant and accessible to wheelchairs at both ends.  These tables are designed and constructed specifically to withstand high elevation snow and other extreme loads when equipped with our V-Type expanded steel or H-Type perforated steel top/seats.  Now, EVERY picnic table in your facility can be fully accessible and, when the snow melts, these tables will be ready to for use!

Model WXT and WXTH Picnic Tables are ADA COMPLIANT and accessible to wheelchairs at both ends—they meet or exceed current ADA guidelines for wheelchair access to picnic tables.  Full length seats offer full capacity seating which is an advantage over extended top or side access tables.  The unique frame design includes two wheelchair spaces plus provides proper support under the outside ends of the full length seats.

The exclusive patented transverse frame leg under the seat makes this a very stable table.  The portable design gives you placement flexibility.

LOAD RATING: The WXT and WXTH tables have been designed to withstand high elevations snow loads and have been independently tested and rated by an independent lab and a state university for snow and other extreme weight loads up to 1420 lbs per sq. ft.  To achieve these ratings, the steel frame tables must be equipped with our V-Type expanded steel or H-Type perforated steel top and seat structures.  Remember...the rating is per square foot NOT per table! 

The WXT Series offers clearances under the table top of 30” wide, 27” high, and 24” total knee and toe clearance (19” knee and 5” toe).  Nominal seat height is 18”.

The WXTH Series offers clearances under the table top of 30” wide, 31” high and 24” total knee and toe clearance (19” knee and 5” toe).  Nominal seat height is 19”.  The raised table top allows most wheelchair armrests to fit under it for a closer approach which is an advantage for some persons in wheelchairs and persons with certain physical restrictions.

FRAME: All welded 2-3/8” OD steel pipe (2.375 OD, 11 ga. Wall, 2” ID nom. pipe specifications).  Top/seat mounting brackets are 2" x 2" x 10 ga. die-formed steel angles.  Frames supported by diagonal braces of 1-5/16” OD steel pipe attached to center channel.   Frames are welded into a single piece structure for strength and easy assembly.   All 3/8” dia. galvanized carriage bolt fasteners.  Warranted for Life.

FINISH: Standard finish: hot dip galvanized after fabrication.  Or choose a powder coat finish (in place of galvanized finish) in your choice of color. 

LENGTH: 6, 8, or 10 ft. long.

TOP/SEAT MATERIAL:  Our V-Type 3/4-#9 expanded metal or H-Type 14 ga. perforated steel  thermo-plastic coated in your choice of color.  See Material Options.
