RJ Thomas Manufacturing Company is seeking to fill positions in our Liquid Dip department. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing fabricated and welded parts for finishing, quality control of the coating, and packaging to ensure our high-quality products meet customer expectations.

Position: Dip Coater

Responsibilities:

• Assist in liquid dip painting process using hoists and other lift assistance tools.
• Use all appropriate PPE (personal protection equipment) supplied by company.
• Wear PPE as trained
• Clean and prepare parts for painting/coating.
• Hang and remove parts from the paint lines
• Inspect, label, package, and stage parts for shipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications and Skills

• Required education: High school degree or equivalent
• Pre-employment drug screening, physical, and back evaluation required.
• Be able to stand/walk up to 10 hours per day. 
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. unassisted occasionally.
• Ability to understand and follow instruction.
• Operate material handling equipment, i.e. banders, scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, chain hoists, etc.

** RJ Thomas employees may be required to cross-train into other departments of the manufacturing plant. These instances are determined by operations and department supervisors.

Pay: Based on skill-level
 

Hours: 6 am – 4 pm (Summer)

 8 am – 5 pm (Winter)

Pre-employment drug screening and back evaluation required

Job type: Full-time; temp-to-hire.  Positions are available on both 1st shift and 2nd shift.
