St. Patty’s Day Guinness Beer Burgers

St. Patrick’s Day is tomorrow and the best way to celebrate? With beer. Second best way to celebrate? Burgers. Put the two together, and you have the ultimate St. Patty’s Day food.

Guinness is an Irish dry stout that originated in the brewery of Arthur Guinness at St. James’s Gate brewery in the capital city of Dublin, Ireland. You can’t quite get more Irish than a Guinness.

Snake Bite (half Angry Orchard & Half Guinness) & a Guinness

PREP TIME: 5 mins | COOK TIME :10 mins | TOTAL TIME: 15 mins

Serves: 6 servings
INGREDIENTS
2 lbs ground beef
½ cup Guinness Beer
¼ cup Worcestershire Sauce
2 tbsp minced onion
1 tsp garlic powder
6 large hamburger buns

INSTRUCTIONS
1.) Place your ground beef in a large bowl.
2.) Mix together Guinness, Worcestershire, minced onion, and garlic powder in a small bowl.
3.) Pour over the top of the beef, and incorporate well into the meat. (There will be plenty of liquid.)
4.) Marinate for at least 1 hour, up to 8 hours in the fridge.
5.) Heat up your Pilot Rock charcoal grill or fire ring.
6.) Divide the meat into 6 patties. Flatten into a patty about ½-1 inch thick.
7.) Grill each patty for about 5 minutes each side (medium-medium rare), or to your liking.
8.) Add any toppings you wish such as Irish cheddar, pickles, tomato, lettuce or any other additional garnishes, and enjoy!
