CBP-TGP1 Charcoal Grill Tailgating Post

The CBP-TGP1 Tailgate Post easily slides into a standard 2-inch square receiver hitch to make tailgating with your grill simple and convenient.

Pair the Tailgate Post with Pilot Rock’s Backyard Charcoal Grills (Models CBP-135 and CBP-247, sold separately) for a comfortable grilling height directly on the back of your vehicle. Perfect for setting up a tailgate grill or tailgate BBQ grill at your next event.

Both grills rotate 360°, allowing you to cook from any angle. The hitch mounted grill setup is ideal for tailgating, camping, and outdoor cooking.

The CBP-TGP1 fits standard 2-1/2-inch square truck hitch receivers (2-inch ID) and includes a 21/32-inch diameter hole for the hitch pin (hitch pin not included). Be sure to remove and securely store the Tailgate Post and grill before travel.

The post rises 20-3/4 inches from the hitch to the grill mount, keeping the cooking surface at an optimal height. (Check your vehicle’s hitch height—some high-profile trucks and 4x4 vehicles sit higher than standard models.)

Constructed from rugged 2-3/8” OD round steel pipe with a die-formed square end, the CBP-TGP1 is finished with high-temp, non-toxic black enamel paint for durability.
